The perfect parquetry pattern for her flooring

Karen knew she wanted something different for the floors in her 1920’s home in Queanbeyan, and had been looking for some time before coming to us to explore our Earthwood Floors parquetry range.

After discussing her vision for the property we showed a sample of our Victorian Origins Legacy Bordeaux pattern parquetry, and *click* – a perfect fit!

Victorian Origins Legacy timber is the same vintage as Karen’s home, and it’s size and pattern match the look and feel of the house as well.

We re-did Karens’s bedrooms, and kitchen and dining room with 100mm Victorian Origin Legacy Bordeaux panels at a 45 degree angle, then finished with coats of Bona Oil for surface protection and the final gloss.

Karen is delighted with the results!

Sports flooring re-milled from water damaged school hall floorboards

Environmentally responsible flooring built for the future

In 2019 we were called to a Goulburn school where Water damage had rendered the school hall floor unusable.

Our customer, the NSW Department of Education was keen to fix it, but also keen to be environmentally responsible too, with the large volume of what was now classed as “waste wood”.

Earthwood Flooring's Sustainable Solution

We were able to take almost every piece of the old floor for kiln drying, re-milling and recycling into new solid Earthwood Sports Floor in the hall, over the top of our own height-adjustable battens.

The job was made faster by the fact that we pre-finished the floorboards in the factory, so that when the last board was laid, the job was done.

Goulburn School Hall is future-proofed by virtue of the unprecedented 9mmm wear layer that will allow for multiple refinishes over the long term life of the floor.

Earthwood Floors sports flooring can also be coloured, and looks great in both commercial and residential settings.

Earthwood Floors are quality, engineered hardwood floorboards are precision manufactured to exact specifications meeting national and international standards.
